Arequipa bases its tourist potential on the heritage of pre-Hispanic culture and on its natural riches. Tourism is concentrated in the city, which is a pole of attraction for its ashlar buildings; in the center is the ancient city, where you can admire colonial architecture in one of the best expressions of religious inspiration that reaches not only the temples, but also the civil architecture, with mansions of portals characterized by a very high and decorated curved pediment.
