    1. DAY 1 Arrival in Lima City Tour and Lima half day

      Pick up from the airport in Lima and transfer to your hotel in Miraflores.

      City Tour Lima half day:

      Pick up from your hotel lobby. Your City Tour Lima will begin with a panoramic visit to the traditional districts of San Isidro and Miraflores. The tour will pass through the Parque del Amor where you will enjoy magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and also through the Huaca Pucllana, an impressive pre-Inca temple in the shape of a pyramid that is located in the middle of the city. Then, you will visit the historic center of Lima starting with the colonial house of Aliaga (exclusive entrance). Finally, a short stop will be made at the Plaza Mayor, where the Presidential Palace and the Cathedral are located, and a panoramic tour of Plaza San Martín, a large park in the center of Lima surrounded by republican buildings that still exhibit wooden balconies (duration: 4 hours approx). Return to your hotel.

    2. DAY 2 Transfer to/from Airport and Traveling to the Sacred Valley

      Transfer to/from Airport:

      In the morning Pick up from your hotel lobby and transfer to the airport to take your flight Lima – Cusco (arriving before noon). Pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel in the Sacred Valley (altitude: 2800m / 9184ft), located 1 hour 30 minutes from the city of Cusco.

      Traveling to the Sacred Valley:

      Along the way, you will step inside a textile center in Huallarcocha community and learn about ancient Peruvian civilizations through its weaving techniques. Observe Andean camelids grazing in the meadows behind this beautiful property (only llamas, alpacas and guanacos. Vicuñas are protected animals that live in the wilderness). Continue the tour visiting Pisaq archaeological site. And finally, wander through the Pisac’s artisan market. Witness the artisanal wood-fired adobe ovens, where they prepare empanadas using 7 traditional flours: wheat, white quinoa, black quinoa, kiwicha, corn, cañihua and beans (food market only on Sundays).

    3. DAY 3 Chinchero - Maras - Ollantaytambo town

      Pick up in the lobby of your hotel. You will visit the textile town of Chinchero (altitude: 3800m / 12464ft) and learn ancient textile practices such as how to obtain different natural colors, the meaning of several icons represented in their textiles, and/or forgotten weaving techniques and customs. They will also perform traditional songs wearing traditional customs. After Chinchero, you can wander through its food/artisanal market (on Sundays) and then you will visit the natural salt mines of Maras (altitude: 3300m / 10824ft).

      Then, you will enjoy lunch at Hacienda Huayoccari. This lovely secluded hacienda was built in the 50’s by one of the most prestigious families in Cusco. It provides beautiful surroundings, an amazing garden with beautiful views, antiques and folk art throughout, and amazing food. After lunch, continue the excursion visiting Ollantaytambo and walk around this cobblestone village of Inca times (duration: 7 – 8 hours). Return to the hotel.

      NOTE: If time permits or you prefer to change places to visit, you can also visit the ceramic shops of Pablo Seminario, Yury Slava and Tater Vera in Urubamba and/or try Chicha de Jora in Yanahuara and/or a craft brewery in Pachar and/or a guinea pig farm near Ollantaytambo.

    4. DAY 4 ATVs in Moray & Laguna Huaypo

      Pick up from the hotel lobby and transfer to the town of Cruzpata where your instructor will explain the use of ATVs, being able to practice for 15 minutes. They will start the journey in the ATVs towards the terraces of the agricultural laboratory and astronomical observatory of Moray (altitude: 3500m / 11480ft). Later, you will visit the Huaypo Lagoon, admiring nature and beautiful Andean landscapes along the way (duration: 2 ½ – 3 hours approx).

      For lunch, you will go to Moray to experience a gastronomic journey through the 8 ecosystems that surround Mil Centro by worldwide best top 50 chefs, Virgilio Martinez. After having lunch, you will return to the hotel.

    5. DAY 5 Machu Picchu Tour

      Pick up from your hotel lobby and transfer to the Ollantaytambo station where you will board the Vistadome train (superior class) and arrive in Aguas Calientes.

      Upon arrival, the guide will accompany you to Café Inkaterra so you can enjoy a delicious lunch overlooking the Vilcanota River. Then, you will travel by bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Machu Picchu (altitude: 2430m / 7970ft).

      Machu Picchu Tour:

      In the afternoon, you will enter the citadel of Machu Picchu to explore the lower part of the great ”Lost City of the Incas” together with your guide (duration: 3 hours). Check-in hours: from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

      At the end of the tour, you will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes and you will be able to check into your hotel.

    6. DAY 6 Machu Picchu Tour

      Your guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and you will take the one-way bus to the Citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will have free time to have lunch at the Tinkuy buffet restaurant (open from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) and later you will tour the upper part of Machu Picchu together with the guide (duration: 3 – 4 hours). Check-in hours: from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

      After tea time at 4:00 p.m. at the Tinkuy Restaurant of the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, you will take the bus to Aguas Calientes with Hiram Bingham’s group at 4:45 p.m. You will all then transfer to the train station to take your Hiram Bingham train that departs at 5:50 p.m. and arrives at 9:16 p.m. to Poroy (30 minutes from Cusco). At your arrival, you will look for your driver who will hold a sign with your name to be transferred to your hotel Cusco (altitude: 3400m / 11152ft).

      Overnight: Palacio del Inka

    7. DAY 7 Cusco City Tour

      Pick up from your hotel lobby. Visit to the Cathedral, the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, the Archaeological Complex of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay (duration: 4 hours). Return to your hotel.

      Pick up from your hotel lobby and transfer to the airport to take your flight Cusco – Lima (departing any time after 4pm).
